Behind-the-scenes.. Parang sampung painting

Contest entry #1 — Non Representational Category

“Panganib”

My first abstract painting.

Finished artwork, “Panganib”

… at ang resulta..!

“Panganib”

? Honorable Mention ?

2021 GSIS Art Competition, Non-Representational Category

? WINNER!!!!!!!!!

Ninerbyos ako. Akala ko di na ako matatawag.

Salamat sa GSIS.
Salamat sa Diyos ? sa talento.
Salamat sa inyong lahat ? !

Contest entry #2 — Representational Art

“Abot Kamay”

This is my entry to the GSIS art competition’s representational category, pero di nakapasok sa finals?

Another lesson learned.

Yung unang una ko pang abstract painting pa ang nakapasok at nag “Honorable Mention”, like what Ate Alice said this is a new realization for me.

May 7

My Non Representational (Abstract) Painting is also qualified to compete in GSIS Art Competition, Salamat po! ??

Handog Ng Limangdaang Taon

This is one of my 4 entries to the 2021 Quincentennial Art Competition. Not a winner, but I learned a lot from this experience. I wasn’t able to take proper pictures of them since I was in a hurry to beat the deadline that I found out later has extended again; I could have made better paintings with the extra time.

This painting was displayed in two on-site exhibits by the National Quincentennial Commission. It is an honor to be included in Circumnavigation Exhibit and Sto Nino de Cebu Exhibit.
