Behind-the-scenes.. Parang sampung painting

Raffle Time! Art and Abe Flower Totes

Whang Od Painting — International Day of Indigenous Peoples

Here are Whang Od’s portraits created by Abe for his personal collection: using his colorful surreal modern art style, another in sepia, another in close up portraiture.

On August 9, the world celebrates International Day of Indigenous Peoples. Whang Od, the last living mambabatok, belongs to the Butbut culture group from Buscalan, Kalinga.

May indigenous peoples of the Philippines and the world be included in the socio-economic system and enjoy the benefits of a new social contract where they will not be left behind, as advocated by the United Nations.

Contest entry #1 — Non Representational Category

“Panganib”

My first abstract painting.

Finished artwork, “Panganib”

… at ang resulta..!

“Panganib”

? Honorable Mention ?

2021 GSIS Art Competition, Non-Representational Category

? WINNER!!!!!!!!!

Ninerbyos ako. Akala ko di na ako matatawag.

Salamat sa GSIS.
Salamat sa Diyos ? sa talento.
Salamat sa inyong lahat ? !

Contest entry #2 — Representational Art

“Abot Kamay”

This is my entry to the GSIS art competition’s representational category, pero di nakapasok sa finals?

Another lesson learned.

Yung unang una ko pang abstract painting pa ang nakapasok at nag “Honorable Mention”, like what Ate Alice said this is a new realization for me.

Infinity Koi Art

Just finished my original composition titled ‘ Infinity Koi’. This is the larger version of the first one, which is 24×30 inches only, a client requested for a 29 x 36 inches version that will fit on a space in his wall.

Thank you for this commissioned art??❤ Please PM me at our Facebook page so I can create a commissioned piece for you too.

Golden Gate Bridge

First multi-panel canvas art. A big challenge to my creativity and patience.

“The 1.7-mile-long Golden Gate Bridge, an icon of the San Francisco Bay region, connects the city of San Francisco to Marin County, California. At its completion in 1937, the suspension bridge was considered an engineering marvel—the longest main suspension bridge span in the world (until 1964).”
